Sue Sherwood and I had a lovely day stewarding at the exhibition today. It was my first visit and I would like to thank the 3 ladies who put everything up on Monday. It looks really good. Our Sense of Place pieces seemed to be made specially for the back wall as they all fit on it so well.
In the smaller room the Recycled tags look amazing and fill the space. Visitors enjoyed walking through it and even bought some.

I was thrilled to sell my Verbiage piece by 10.30. A lovely visitor was very complementary about all our work and then bought 2 tags and my piece. It’s always a thrill to sell something small or large.
We had a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, who were all very interested in our challenges and asked lots of questions about our work.

Our visitors’ book is slowly filling up with lovely comments. Thank you to everyone who visited today, dodging the odd rain shower.
We will welcome more over the next 3 days. Do come along - I don’t think you will be disappointed.

The stewarding rota is done, we all know when we are on ‘duty’, we have run out of time. The work is  finished and we have a plan – a best laid plan for today - the hanging day! 
It’s the week after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend. Will people be about? Will everyone be on holiday? What will the weather do? Will anyone come?
